Held on Sat 6th September 2003, Stillington Village Green. To celebrate the re-launch of Stillington Post Office & Stores there was a Food Fayre on the Village Green and in the Village Hall on Saturday, 6th September from 2pm to 5pm. Yorkshire Ridings Produce brought their Farmer’s Market and there were stalls selling meat, vegetables, cakes, fruit, fish, sausages, cheese, preserves and coffee from the Women’s Institute. As time goes on we hope to stock more locally produced food in the village shop and this was the opportunity to try some of it.
